Samsung SyncMaster 460DXN / 46-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor Review

Although the technology surrounding monitors is constantly evolving and changing, some products, even after they have been out of production are still worth taking a look at;   Samsung’s 460dXN, 46” LCD monitor is one such product.  Touting a 720p resolution and Ethernet connectivity, the 460DXN is a solid monitor.  Though the 460DXN lacks a TV tuner, it could still theoretically be used as a TV should you so desire (internet TV).   However, the real purpose of this monster from the SyncMaster line is to provide an unparalleled experience for console gamers / computer gamers / internet devotees.  Those who really enjoy console and PC gaming should get the most mileage out of the 460DXN.

In truth, there’s very little that this amazing monitor can’t do.  Not only does it present crystal-clear HD visuals, it does so via an absolutely massive screen which won’t easily fatigue your eyes.  Moreover, the unit comes with its own stand, which is crucial because it weighs around 66 pounds. However, despite its weight, the 460DXN is perfectly suitable for tabletop applications (provided you have something sturdy enough of course).

Overall, Samsung’s 460DXN is a great LCD monitor and is certainly worth checking out if you’re in the market for something over 40’ inches in size and are able to make full use of an Ethernet equipped monitor.
